Hydra’s Wooden Ships on Their Journey Through History

 

The Oracle of Delphi foretold that wooden walls would save Athens, which turned out to be the ships that won the Battle of Salamis. Over two thousand years later, wooden ships, those who built them, traded with them, and piloted them, would foster the rebirth of Greece which had been enslaved since the fall of Byzantium.
