HYDRA REBETIKO GATHERING - 29 September to 2 October 2023
Dear Rebetiko People,
A couple of bits of Rebetiko News for you.
1. This year's Hydra Rebetiko Gathering. Basically, I shall be on the Island of Hydra on the weekend of 29 September to 2 October. I shall be gathering up musicians in order to make music. If you would like to join the Gathering, write to me and let me know, and I shall send further details.
2. Exciting news! I have been working hard on our new SOAS Rebetiko Reader. It will be published in print and also on-line. Printed copies can be ordered now. Drop me a line if you want a copy. You will find the online versions of the articles here:

3. We are now preparing for the new season of London Rebetiko @ SOAS 2023-24. I shall send details of that once we have the programme.
